JUDGEMENT

(1.) THIS revision petition has been filed against the order dated 6.4.1990 passed by learned Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate, Merta City pending in Criminal Case NO.64/1987.

(2.) THE short facts of the case are that the Food Inspector, Northern Railway has filed a complaint against the present petitioner for the offence under Section 7/16 of the Food Adulteration Act and pre-charge evidence has been ordered. The present petitioner has also moved to the High Court for quashing the proceedings. In spite of this, proceedings have not been stayed and on 6.4.1990 one witness has been examined but the Food Inspector has not been examined and the time has been given to him for producing the appointment letter. Hence this revision.

(3.) NONE present on behalf of the present petitioner and heard learned Public Prosecutor for the State.
