Decided On December 12, 2012
NARBADA Appellant
V/S
State Of Rajasthan And Ors Respondents

JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard learned counsel for the parties.

(2.) In this writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner is claiming consideration of her candidature for appointment on the post of Anganwari Worker on the ground that she was selected and her name was included in the select list at S.No.1 for Wart No.4, but without any cause, respondent denied appointment to the petitioner, therefore, she is seeking direction to the respondents to provide appointment on the post of Anganwari Worker as per select list. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondents submits that the candidature of the petitioner was rejected on the ground that the day on which petitioner filed an application for appointment, she was pursuing STC course as regular student and this fact was not disclosed by her, therefore, appointment was not given to her.

(3.) Further, it is submitted that assurance has been given to the petitioner that in the event of availability of vacancy in future her candidature will be considered for appointment.
