JUDGEMENT

(1.) In the wake of second surge in the COVID-19 cases, the Court is functioning virtually and abundant caution is being maintained for the safety of all concerned.

(2.) Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record of the case.

(3.) This criminal appeal under Section 14A(2) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 (hereinafter to be referred as 'the SC/ST Act') has been filed on behalf of the appellant being aggrieved with the order dated 05.01.2021 passed by the learned Special Judge, SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Cases, Sriganganagar (hereinafter to be referred as 'trial court') in Criminal Misc. Case No.03/2021 whereby the trial court has dismissed the bail application filed on behalf of the appellant.
