JUDGEMENT

(1.) This parole writ petition has been preferred on behalf of the petitioner challenging the decision dtd. 18/5/2021 given by the District Parole Committee whereby the application filed by the petitioner for releasing him on parole for 20 days has been rejected.

(2.) Pursuant to the directions given by this Court on 10/11/2021, a Medical Board constituted at the M.B. Government Hospital, Udaipur has examined the petitioner and concluded that he seems to be suffering from Psychosis NOS and needs regular psychiatric treatment.

(3.) The application for releasing the petitioner on parole has been rejected while observing that the mental condition of the petitioner is not good and there is apprehension that if he is released on parole, he may engage himself in quarreling with his family members as well as neighbours. It is also observed that the petitioner's behaviour in the jail is not satisfactory.
