RIYAZ KHAN AND ANR. Vs. STATE OF RAJASTHAN

JUDGEMENT

(1.) PURSUANT to the order of this Court dated 7 -3 -11, the Dy. Registrar (Judicial) has not only attested the compromise of the parties, but he has also recorded the statements of parties, namely, Riyaz Khan, Smt. Guddi, the Petitioners, and Reshma Bano, the Respondent No. 2.

(2.) IN their statements, all the three, have clearly stated that they have entered into compromise, and they have settled their disputes. Reshma Bano has clearly stated that she has been divorced by her husband Iliyas. Now she does not wish to pursue the criminal proceedings against her in -laws, in the FIR against the Petitioners for the offences under Sections 498A and 406 IPC.

(3.) THEREFORE , the Misc. Petition is allowed. This Court quashes and set aside the proceedings of the case No. 506/2009, pending in the court of Additional Civil Judge (Junior Division) & Metropolitan Magistrate No. 13, Jaipur.
