DALGANJI Vs. STATE OF RAJASTHAN

JUDGEMENT

(1.) The present criminal appeals under Section 14-A of the Schedule Caste/ Schedule Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act 1989 have been filed in connection with FIR No.571/2019 registered at Police Station Sadar Hindaun District Karauli for the offences under Sections 147 , 148 , 149 , 323 , 341 , 325 , 447 , 307 and 302 of IPC read with Sections 3 (1) (r) (s) (g) (f), 3(2)(Va), 3(2)(V) of SC & ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.

(2.) Heard learned counsel for the appellants through 'Jitsi Meet'.

(3.) It is contended by learned counsel for the appellants that although, they are named in the FIR; but, no specific overt act being assigned to the present appellants. They submitted that the appellants are in custody since long, charge-sheet has been filed, trial of the case will take time and prays for release of the appellants on bail.
