JUDGEMENT

(1.) The matter is taken up for hearing through "Jitsi Meet".

(2.) The instant criminal contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 2(c) and 15 of the Contempt of Courts Act read with Article 215 of the Constitution of India for punishing the contemnor-respondent.

(3.) The petitioner alleged in the contempt petition that on 2.3.2020 the petitioner viewed a T.V. Programme " lcls XXX XXX XXX" telecasted by News 24 T.V. Channel at 7.00 P.M. In the said programme, Mr. Prem Shukla, National Spokesperson of Bhartiya Janta Party intentionally and wilfully insulted the then High Court Judge of Delhi High Court Mr. S. Murlidhar.
