JUDGEMENT

(1.) Mr. Manish Vyas, learned Additional Advocate General informs that by order dated 08.01.2020, 18 persons out of the petitioners have been afforded contractual employment. In the same breath, he submits that by order of even date, candidature of remaining 51 petitioners was considered and rejected, as they do not have requisite qualification stipulated in point No.13.1 of the UGC Regulations - 2010 and hence requisite compliance of the order(s) passed by this Court has been made.

Mr. Lodha, learned Senior Counsel submits that in spite of the fact that many posts are lying vacant, in different colleges, the respondents have not engaged the petitioners, regardless of the order passed by this Court. He points out with pain that respondents have observed empty formality by issuing order No.934 dated 08.01.2020 and giving employment to 18 persons, while denying others their rightful claim.

Inviting Court's attention towards colleges at Abu Road(subject - Hindi), Jalore (Subject - Geography) etc. learned Senior counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that though posts are vacant and petitioners are willing to serve, the respondents have not engaged them just to frustrate the orders passed by this Court.
