(1.) Heard learned counsel for the petitioner through Video Conferencing as well as learned Public Prosecutor, present in the Court.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the prosecutrix in her initial statement under Section 161 Cr.P.C. has clearly stated that she knew the present accused-petitioner earlier and she on her own wish had gone with the present petitioner and no offence of rape was committed on her. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the prosecutrix later on due to pressure, exerted by her parents, changed her statement under Section 164 Cr.P.C.
(3.) Learned counsel further submitted that the prosecutrix is a major girl and Police, after investigation, has filed challan and the petitioner is in custody since 16.03.2020.
