JUDGEMENT

(1.) This criminal miscellaneous petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been preferred on behalf of the petitioners with the prayer for quashing the criminal proceedings pending against them in the Court of Senior Civil Judge cum Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bandikui District Dausa (for short 'the trial Court') in connection with Criminal Case No.212/2019 arising out of FIR No.186/2018 registered at Police Station Bandikui District Dausa, whereby, the trial Court vide order dated 15.06.2020 refused to attest the compromise for the offence punishable under Section 498-A IPC, as the same is not compoundable.

(2.) Brief facts of the case are that the respondent No.2 filed a complaint against the petitioners for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A , 323 and 354 IPC before the Police Station Bandikui District Dausa. Thereafter, the Police registered a case against the petitioners for the aforesaid offences and started investigation. After investigation, the police filed charge-sheet against the petitioners for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A and 323 I.P.C. before the concerned Court wherein the trial against the petitioners is pending.

(3.) The trial court vide order dated 15.06.2020 rejected the compromise, qua offence punishable under Sections 498-A I.P.C. The present criminal misc. petition has been preferred by the petitioners for quashing the said criminal proceedings pending against them.
