JUDGEMENT

(1.) The present bail application has been filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. on behalf of the petitioner, who is in judicial custody in connection with F.I.R. No.09/2020, Police Station Barmer rural, District Barmer, registered for the offence under Sections 143, 341, 323, 325, 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

(2.) Learned counsel for the petitioner appearing through video calling stated that benefit of bail have already been granted by co-ordinate Bench of this Court to co-accused persons, namely, Swarup Singh, Purakh Singh, Shishpal Singh and Mev Singh; that further investigation and trial will take sufficiently long time. With these submissions, learned counsel for the petitioner prayed that the benefit of bail may also be granted to the accused-petitioner.

(3.) Per contra, learned Public Prosecutor has opposed the bail application and stated that one another case is pending against the accused-petitioner.
