JUDGEMENT

(1.) This writ petition has been preferred on behalf of the petitioner with a prayer that the respondent - Rajasthan Public Service Commission (for short 'the RPSC') may kindly be directed to allow the petitioner to change her category from OBC (creamy) to OBC (non creamy). It is further prayed that the RPSC may be directed to consider the candidature of the petitioner for appointment on the post of lecturer (school education) under the category of OBC (widow) instead of General Category.

(2.) It is not in dispute that in the on-line application form, the petitioner has mentioned her category as OBC (creamy). The case of the petitioner is to the effect that though the petitioner belongs to OBC (non creamy) category, however, due to inadvertence, in the on-line application form, she has mentioned her category as OBC (creamy).

(3.) Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that inadvertently the petitioner has mentioned her category as OBC (creamy) instead of OBC (non creamy) in the on-line application form, which is bonafide and despite her request, the RPSC has not allowed her to change her category.
