RAM NIWAS Vs. SAWAI MADHOPUR

JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard the counsel for the parties. This criminal misc suspension of sentence application has been filed by the applicant along with the criminal revision.

(2.) Counsel for the applicant along with revision has annexed certificate under Rule 311(3) Rajasthan High Court Ordinance wherein it has been mentioned that at present the applicant is confined in District Jail, Sawai Madhopur and he is ready to deposit a sum of Rs.1 lakh in addition to the amount already deposited. Counsel further submits that the hearing of the criminal revision may take long time, hence, the sentence awarded to the applicant may be suspended during the pendency of the criminal revision and he be released on bail.

(3.) Learned Public Prosecutor has opposed the application.
