JUDGEMENT

(1.) This application for bail has been filed by the petitioner under Section 439 of the Cr.P.C. in connection with FIR No.177/2019, Police Station Pachpadra, District Barmer for the offence under Section 8/15 of the NDPS Act and 3/25 of Arms Act.

(2.) Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Public Prosecutor and also perused the material available on record.

(3.) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as many as 21 police officials have been named in the list of witnesses and it cannot be said that the petitioner would be able to influence these witnesses or the evidence to be led by them if the petitioner is enlarged on bail. The trial of the case will take long time, looking at the long list of witnesses, hence, the petitioner be enlarged on bail, submitted learned counsel.
