JUDGEMENT

(1.) The instant appeal was originally preferred by the accused Lakhan Singh and Rukmani Devi for assailing the judgment dated 11.02.2011 passed by the learned Special Additional District and Sessions Judge (Women Atrocities and Dowry Cases), Sri Ganganagar in Sessions Case No.50/2007 by which they were convicted and sentenced as below:-

(2.) All the sentences were ordered to run concurrently.

(3.) As per the information received from the concerned police station, Lakhan Singh passed away on 02.06.2017 and thus by the order dated 25.08.2020 the appeal was abated to his extent. Thus, we are considering the appeal only qua the appellant Rukmani Devi.
