SANJEEDA BANO Vs. STATE OF RAJASTHAN

JUDGEMENT

(1.) This Petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for protection to life and personal liberty of the petitioner.

(2.) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner got married with respondent No.5 on 19-9-2011 and a duaghter Anabia was born from the wedlock. She has been divorced by her husband respondent No.5 in 2013. The petitioner is living in the house of her father and her brother-in-law, but the respondent No.5, her estranged husband, is harassing her and her daughter Anabia. Now the petitioner's father and other relatives are also in connivence with respondent No.5 and they are threatening the petitioner and her daughter. Being their life and liberty in danger, police protection may be granted to them.

(3.) Learned Public Prosecutor submits that appropriate directions may be issued.
