JUDGEMENT

(1.) This appeal for enhancement of compensation is directed against the judgment and award dated 27.11.2019 passed by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal No.1, Jaipur Metropolitan, Jaipur (for short 'the Tribunal'), whereby the Tribunal awarded a sum of Rs.64,000/- as compensation along with interest @ 7% per annum.

(2.) Learned counsel for the appellant has submitted that the appellant sustained grievous injuries, for which she remained hospitalised for a long duration and incurred huge expenditure. The appellant was 7 years old. However, only Rs.64,000/- has been awarded by the Tribunal as compensation.

(3.) I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for the appellant and have perused the material available on record.
