SUB-REGISTRAR Vs. OFFICIAL LIQUIDATOR

JUDGEMENT

(1.) Instant application has been filed by the Sub-Registrar, Alwar under Rule 177 of Companies (Court) Rules, 1959.

(2.) It has been averred in the application that M/s. Rathi Alloyes & Steels Pvt. Ltd., Matsya Industrial Area, Village Alwar was wound up vide order dated 24-8-2001 and there are certain dues towards land tax of Rs. 6.39 lakhs for the three financial years, i.e., 2006-07, 2007-08 and 2008-09 to the company-in-liquidation. But, the claim could not have been submitted within the time prescribed under the advertisement.

(3.) Application has basically been filed by the applicant seeking condonation of delay so that claim application can be submitted before the Official Liquidator.
