(1.) Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor. Learned counsel on behalf of the behalf of the petitioner drew my attention to the statements of Teja Ram and Ram Prakash and argued that there are no reasonable grounds or material to hold that the petitioner has committed any alleged offence. Learned Public Prosecutor has opposed the bail petition that the petitioner was the driver of the Jeep and he was also with Shiv Karan in purchasing the contraband article.
(2.) Having considered the record and facts and circumstances of the case, it is just and proper to hold that there are reasonable ground to infer that the petitioner may not have committed the said offence and he deserves to be released on bail.
(3.) Hence the bail petition is allowed. It is ordered that the petitioner Deena Ram S/o Sukha Ram shall be released on bail provided he executes a personal bond in the sum of Rs. 10,000.00 and a surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial court for his personal appearances before that, court on each and every date of hearing and whenever ordered to do so. Bail application allowed.
