JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE facts as asserted by the petitioner in this petition lie in a brief compass. -

(2.) BY virtue of Notification dated March 11, 1978 the petitioner is said to have been declared successful in the examination conducted by the public service commission with regard to the post of Assistant Conservator of Forests. In the said Notification the petitioner figured at serial No. 10. Respondents 2 and 3 were shown below the petitioner. However they were appointed along with some other candidates to the post of Assistant Conservator of Forests on January 4, 1978.

(3.) THEREAFTER another order of appointment came to be issued on April 8 1981 by which some more persons who also figure below the petitioner in the merit list were appointed Assistant Conservator of Forests.
