JUDGEMENT

(1.) In this petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to adjust him as Class-IV employee in the PHE Department in lieu of the land measuring 1 kanals 8 marlas comprising khasra No.179 situated at Palpar Ranghura, Tehsildar and District Jammu given by him to PHE Department for construction of tank for water purposes.

(2.) A short grievance projected by the petitioner in this petition is that the land aforesaid was given to the respondents, free of cost on the promise made by them that the petitioner would be adjusted as Class-IV employee in the PHE department. However, the respondents have not fulfilled the said promise.

(3.) Respondent Nos. 1 to 2 have filed their objections in which they have stated that the case of the petitioner is required to be considered under SRO 520 of 2017 dated 21.12.2017, but due to failure of the petitioner to complete the requisite formalities, the same has not been processed.
