JUDGEMENT

(1.) Vide Advertisement Notification No. 09/2013 dated 21.06.2013 issued by respondent No. 3, applications were invited for filling up of 725 different posts available in different departments including 51 posts of Physical Education Teacher in the Department of Youth Service and Sports, District Cadre, Poonch. As is evident from the Advertisement Notification, out of 51 posts, 35 were earmarked for Open Merit(OM) category. The qualification prescribed for the post as indicated in the Advertisement Notification was as under:-

(2.) With a view to make selection, the respondents framed the following criteria:-

(3.) The respondents carried out the selection by applying the aforesaid selection criteria and issued a select list, which became subject matter of challenge in SWP No. 603/2016. The writ petition was disposed of by a Single Bench of this Court by directing the respondents to reframe the select list in the light of the observations made in the judgment within a period of three weeks. Accordingly, the respondents framed the revised select list, in which the petitioner in SWP No. 316/2018 came to be placed at serial No. 02 of the wait list of Open Merit category with merit points 56.1141 and the petitioner in SWP No. 3035/2017 came to be placed at serial No. 03 of the wait list with merit points 55.4474. However, Ramandeep Kour, petitioner in SWP No. 1420/2016 was placed at serial No. 06 with merit points 54.4922.
