JUDGEMENT

(1.) Mr. Mir Majid Bashir, learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioner submits that the subject of the writ petition has reference to the decision rendered by this Court in writ petition bearing SWP No. 847/2008 on 18/5/2022 and seeks disposal of the instant petition in light of the said decision. It is submitted that the official respondents have been directed to consider the claim of all eligible officers for promotion to the next higher post in tune with mandate of law.

(2.) In the above background, this writ petition is disposed of with direction to the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner for promotion to the next higher post in tune with mandate of law.

(3.) Disposed of as above.
