(3.) Admittedly, the writ petitioner in this case is covered under the Employees Provident Fund and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 (hereinafter referred to as the 'Act'). The authorities in their wisdom have passed the order dtd. 3/12/2008 under 7Q & 14B of the Act levying an amount of Rs.7,79,015.00 under Sec. 7Q and an amount of Rs.71,01,720.00 under Sec. 14B.
