JUDGEMENT

(1.) HEARD counsel for the parties.

(2.) THIS writ application pertains to grant of promotion to the petitioners on the post of Plant Protection Inspector, as per the resolution of the Agriculture Department dated 18.2.1992.

(3.) A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the respondents, wherein it is stated that proposal for promotion from the post of Plant Protection Supervisor to that of Plant Protection Inspector has been received from the Joint Director of Agriculture (Plant Protection), Government of Bihar, Patna and the matter is under scrutiny to give promotion to them in light of resolution no. 328 dated 18.2.1992, issued by the Agriculture Department, Government of Bihar, Patna.
