JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard Mr. Naresh Prasad No.1, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, Mr. Gopesh Kumar, learned Central Government Counsel appearing for the respondent nos. 1 and 2 and Mr. Manager Sao, learned Assisting Counsel to S.C.21 for the State.

(2.) The writ petition has been filed seeking directions to the respondent authorities of the State Government and the Union of India including the Superintendent of Police, Gopalganj and the Passport Officer, Mourya Lok Complex, Patna to the ensure issuance of the passport of the petitioner.

(3.) It is the contention of the petitioner that despite completion of all the formalities, the respondent Passport Officer, Patna on one pretext or the other, has denied the issuance of the passport.
