JUDGEMENT

(1.) THIS application has been preferred by the petitioner against the decision dated 7th January, 1998, communicated by D.G. -cum -I.G. Police on behalf of the D.G. Board, whereby and whereunder, the claim of the petitioner for out of turn promotion on the post of A.S.I, has been rejected.

(2.) THE brief fact of the case shows that the petitioner, a constable, appointed in the year 1983, was selected and represented Bihar Police Kabaddi Team in 1983 and remained member of the team upto 1989. He passed the requisite training for promotion to higher post.

(3.) ON such remand, the Respondents considered the case of the petitioner and rejected the claim, as communicated vide impugned order dated 7th January, 1998.
