JUDGEMENT

(1.) The petitioner is aggrieved by the minutes of the 35th meeting of the Executive Council, held on 27th November, 2018, with regard to its Item No. 35. 5(T), whereby the Executive Council has taken a decision to withdraw offer letter for the post of Finance Officer.

The case of the petitioner is that respondent-Central University vide its Employment Notice No. 001/2017, dated 27th May, 2017, advertised various non-teaching positions/other Whether the reporters of Local Papers may be allowedto see the judgment? academic positions and the last date of receipt of online application was 05. 07. 2017, which was extended up to 15. 07. 2017 and thereafter, it was further extended up to 25. 07. 2019. His further case is that on 27th May, 2017, he applied for the post of Finance Officer and appended all the requisite certificates relating to his educational qualification and professional experience etc. , alongwith his Application Form. It is averred in the petition that the Application Form of the petitioner was uploaded online and the same was accepted by the respondent-University. It is further averred that on 14. 05. 2018, the Screening Committee of the Central University uploaded complete list of all applicants who applied for the position of Finance Officer on its website with regard to their eligibility/non-eligibility alongwith the reasons thereof and the applicants were advised to go through their details carefully and in case of any discrepancy, to bring the same to the notice of the respondent-University for necessary correction by or before 17. 05. 2018. The further case of the petitioner is that the Screening Committee screened all the requests/applications to determine eligibility of each applicant and the petitioner was declared to be an eligible candidate.
