JUDGEMENT

(1.) The present appeal is maintained by the appellant/accused/convict (hereinafter referred to as "the accused"), laying challenge to judgment dated 26.07.2017, passed by learned Special Judge-III, Solan, District Solan, H.P., in Sessions Trial No. 31ASJ-II/7 of 2015, whereby the accused was convicted for the commission of the offence punishable under Section 20 of the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (hereinafter referred to as "NDPS Act").

(3.) The prosecution, in order to prove its case, examined as many as ten witnesses. Statement of the accused was recorded under Section 313 Cr.P.C., wherein he pleaded not guilty. The accused did not lead any evidence in his defence.
