JUDGEMENT

(1.) The petitioner has sought regular bail in case FIR No. 96 of 2015 dated 28.10.2015, registered at Police Station, Sujanpur, District Hamirpur, H.P. under Ss. 498 -A and 306 IPC.

(2.) The respondents have produced the records of investigation and have also filed the status report.

(3.) In brief, the prosecution story as revealed from the record is that the petitioner was married to deceased Sanju Devi alias Sonia about 15 -16 years back as per Hindu rites and customs. Out of this wedlock, three children were born. After marriage for about one and half year, the relations in between the deceased and the petitioner remained cordial, but thereafter, the petitioner got down consuming alcohol and started harassing and beating the deceased. It is alleged that the deceased had disclosed to her brothers that she was not happy in her matrimonial home because of the wanton habits of her husband.
