JUDGEMENT

(1.) The instant petition has been filed for the following substantive reliefs:-

(2.) The 3rd respondent vide advertisement notice invited applications from the eligible candidates for the posts of Constable (Driver Male) to be recruited in Himachal Pradesh Police Department.

(3.) Total 112 posts of Constable (Driver Male) were shown vacant. Out of 112 posts of Constable (Driver Male), 9 posts were allocated to District Solan on population percentage basis. The breakup of these 9 posts was as under: -
