JUDGEMENT

(1.) Mr. A.K. Gupta, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in CWP No.3628 of 2020 , titled as Inder Singh vs. State of H.P. and others, on 5/1/2021 had given benefit to one Inder Singh and the case of the petitioner is also similarly placed. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner be also given the same benefit because his case is fully covered.

(2.) Mr. Nand Lal Thakur, learned Additional Advocate General, submits that in the present case, the petitioner had approached the Court after a long gap of time, as such, the case is hit by the principle of delay and latches.

(3.) Be that as it may, this petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to make representation to the competent authority, within two weeks, in accordance with law. On receipt of such representation, the said respondent shall decide the same within two weeks thereafter in case the claim of the petitioner is similar to that of Inder Singh.
