JUDGEMENT

(1.) This writ petition has been filed with following prayer:

(2.) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondents/State Functionaries are digging the Jaisinghpur Stadium, District Kangra, commonly known as 'Chowgan', right in the middle. The digging is in order to facilitiate construction of Volleyball and Basketball courts.

(3.) Learned counsel for the petitioner also submits that many organizations have requested the concerned authorities for constructing the Basketball and Volleyball courts in the corner of the ground and not in the centre, so that the beauty of Chowgan is not diminished. With these contentions, this writ petition has beeen preferred praying for direction to the respondents to change the proposed site of the Volleyball and Basketball courts from the middle of the Chowgan ground, Jaisinghpur to the corner of the Chowgan.
