(1.) SECTION 66 of the Electricity Act, 2003 provides for development of market (including trading) in power as under:

(2.) ACCORDINGLY , on 3.9.2013, the Commission published a Staff Paper on "Improvement of Market Efficiency by information dissemination through display of Aggregate Demand and Supply Day Ahead curves by Power Exchanges on their website" for inviting views and suggestions from the stakeholders.
