DETERMINATION OF POC RATES AND TRANSMISSION LOSSES IN ACCORDANCE WITH REGULATION 17(2) OF CENTRAL ELECTRICITY REGULATORY COMMISSION (SHARING OF INTER STATE TRANSMISSION CHARGES AND LOSSES) REGULATIONS, 2010 AS AMENDED Vs. NATIONAL LOAD DESPATCH CENTRE, NEW DELHI AND CENTRAL TRANSMISSION UTILITY, NEW DELHI

JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE Commission in exercise of power under Regulation 17(2) of the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Sharing of Inter -State Transmission Charges and Losses) Regulations, 2010 as amended from time to time (hereinafter "Sharing Regulations") is required to approve the computation of PoC rates and transmission losses on six monthly basis for the year 2012 -13. For the period 1.10.2012 to 31.3.2013, the requisite data pertaining to calculation of PoC rates and transmission losses are under consideration. Since the present PoC rates and transmission losses notified vide order dated 31.3.2012 are applicable for the period ending 30.9.2012, we direct that till the PoC rates and transmission losses for the period 1.10.2012 to 31.3.2012 are decided and approved by the Commission, the PoC rates and transmission losses notified vide our order dated 31.3.2012 shall remain in operation.
