MONIKA Vs. BIG BAZAR PANTALOON RETAIL (I) LTD

JUDGEMENT

(1.) THIS appeal is directed against the order dated 09.09.2009 passed by District Forum (North) Tis Hazari, Delhi, whereby the complaint of the Appellant was dismissed being meritless. Aggrieved by the said dismissal order, the complainant has filed the present appeal before this Commission praying for compensation of Rs. 4,95,000/ - as prayed before the District Forum.

(2.) THE appeal is accompanied by an application for condonation of delay in filing the appeal.

(3.) BEFORE hearing on admission of the appeal on merits, we have thought it expedient to dispose off the application for delay because, admittedly there is 25 days delay in preferring the present appeal.
