JUDGEMENT

(1.) THIS is a petition under Section 16 of the Punjab Land Revenue Act, 1887 seeking to revise the order dated the 6th November, 1985 of the Commissioner, Ferozepur Division, Ferozepur whereby he set aside the order dated the 24th October, 1991 of the Collector, Ferozepur sanctioning the mutation of inheritance of late Harnam Kaur, No. 1243 of village Chak Jamiat Singh Wala, thesil and district Ferozepur, on the basis of a registered will. Previous to this the S.D.O. (C)-cum-Assistant Collector, 1st Grade, Ferozepur had discarded the will on the ground that it is shrouded with suspicious circumstances.
