JUDGEMENT

(1.) THIS revision petition is directed against the order of the Rent Controller in a petition under section 13-A of the East Punjab Urban Rent Restriction Act, dated April 19, 1989, whereby the evidence of the tenant-petitioner was closed under Order 18 rule 3, Code of Civil Procedure, as he had failed to produce his evidence in spite of the fact that the date was given to him on payment of costs, and at his own responsibility.

(2.) THE petition was admitted on April 26, 1989, for May 22, 1989, and further proceedings were stayed.
