JUDGEMENT

(1.) The petitioner has filed this writ petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India praying for a direction to the respondents for quashing the letter of intent issued in favour of respondent No. 6.

(2.) The facts leading to this petition are as under :-

Respondent Nos. 1 and 2 had fixed the eligibility criteria for the grant of Distributorship of Gas Agency which, inter alia, stipulated that the candidate for Distributorship should not have income more than Rs. 24,000/- per annum. The income for this purpose was to include the income of not only of the candidate, but his or her spouse and dependent children together. A copy of the eligibility certeria is Annexure P-1.
