JUDGEMENT

(1.) The maintenance amount of Rs. 300.00 was awarded to the respondent and the petitioner has contested this order on the ground that he is not in a position to pay the maintenance as he is a petty shop-keeper. There is no evidence on the file about the income of the petitioner. The petitioner is running a statutory shop at Bus Stand, Mukandpur. Taking the fact that he is running a stationery shop at village bus stand, I am of the view that some reduction in the maintenance amount is called for. The maintenance amount is reduced from Rs. 300.00 to Rs. 250.00 per month. With this modification in the maintenance amount, this petition is disposed of.
