JUDGEMENT

(1.) In this petition under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, the order of the Superintending Canal Officer, Ferozepore, dated December 19, 1966 is under challenge. The order reads as under :-

(2.) The order of the Divisional Canal Officer, Annexure 'C' dated January 4, 1965, also suffers from the same infirmity. That order also is consequently quashed and the case sent back to the Divisional Canal Officer for taking fresh proceedings in accordance with law. No costs.
