(1.) Reply by way of affidavit on behalf of respondent No.2 has been filed in Court which is taken on record.

(2.) Vide advertisement dated 28.01.2019 read with later advertisement dated 07.02.2019 (Annexure P-6), 90 posts of 'Senior Assistants' were advertised by the Department of Cooperation, Government of Punjab to be recruited in different departments.

(3.) Pursuant thereto, the petitioner applied in the Sports Category.
