SANJNA KUMARI Vs. STATE OF PUNJAB

JUDGEMENT

(1.) This order shall dispose of aforementioned two petitions praying for quashing of FIR No.284 dated 22.10.2018 for the offences punishable under Sections 452, 323, 506, 34 of the Indian Penal Code ('IPC' for short) and its cross-version case/DDR No.31 dated 25.10.2018 under Sections 341, 323, 506 IPC, both registered at Police Station Dera Bassi, District SAS Nagar (Mohali) as well as all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise effected between the parties.

(2.) The reports dated 04.04.2019 and 14.10.2019 in CRM-M-5200- 2019 and CRM-M-37033-2019 respectively, have been submitted by the Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Dera Bassi, wherein it has been reported that statements of the parties, in FIR and its cross-version case/DDR have been recorded and statements made by them in the Court reveal that they have voluntarily entered into a compromise and the Court is satisfied that the parties have amicably settled their dispute without any fear, pressure, threat or coercion and out of their free will.

(3.) I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the case file.
