(1.) In the affidavit of the Deputy Commissioner, Sangrur, in paras 3 and 4 it has been stated as under:

(2.) In this view of the matter, there is no reason to proceed with the present petition any further for the simple reason that no other material has been shown to this Court that the alleged detenues are still detained in the brick kiln.
