JUDGEMENT

(1.) THIS is a revision petition under section 16 of the Punjab Land Revenue Act, 1887, against the order dated 8-2-06 of Divisional Commissioner, Patiala passed in the matter of correction of khasra girdawari.

(2.) BRIEF facts of the case are that an application for correction of khasra girdawari of land falling in village Rauni, Tehsil Patiala was filed by the petitioner before the Assistant Collector Grade-II, Patiala on 19-11-99. After spot inspection and hearing the parties, the Assistant Collector Grade- II, Patiala allowed the application for correction of khasra girdawari Against this order, an appeal was preferred by the respondent in the court of Collector, Sub Division, Patiala, who vide his order dated 15-4-04 accepted the appeal and remanded the case back to the Assistant Collector Grade-II for a fresh decision. Not satisfied with this order, the petitioner filed an appeal before the Divisional Commissioner, Patiala who vide his order dated 8-2-06 rejected the appeal. Hence this revision petition.
