NETAR SINGH Vs. STATE OF PUNJAB AND ORS.

JUDGEMENT

(1.) THIS order will dispose of a bunch of petitions, namely, Criminal Misc. Nos. 73734 -M, 74868 -M, 74977 -M, 75806 -M, 77498 -M, 77503 -M, 78681 -M, 79516 -M of 2006 and Criminal Writ Petition No. 20 of 2008. The facts are being taken from Criminal Writ Petition No. 20 of 2008.

(2.) THE prayer made in Criminal Writ Petition is for a direction to the respondents to release the petitioner from jail where the petitioner is confined since April, 2004 in 23 complaints filed at different places and has been named as an accused on account of his being the person responsible for production.

(3.) STATE through Chief Agricultural Officer, Amritsar v. Jagan Nath & Co. VPO Gahri Mandi District Amritsar and Ors. pending in the Court of Special Judge, Amritsar.
