JUDGEMENT

(1.) The petitioners have invoked extra ordinary writ jurisdiction of this Court claiming the scale of pay of the post of Clerk from 28.08.1998.

(2.) The petitioners are the employees working with Bhakra Beas Management Board and are governed by Bhakra Beas Management Board Class III and IV Employees (Recruitment & Conditions of Service) Regulations, 1994. On 28.08.1998, the Chairman of the Board issued an office order deleting and adding categories of posts in Schedule A of the said Regulations. The posts occupied by the petitioners were deleted from Group 11 and placed in Group 1. The said order was kept in abeyance by the Chairman of the Board vide order dated 29.11.2000 (Annexure P3).

(3.) Thereafter, on 09.07.2003 (Annexure P4), an order was passed of merging the categories specified in the cadre of Lower Division Clerks by superceding the earlier orders Annexures P2 and P3.
