MANJINDER KAUR Vs. KULDEEP SINGH

Decided On March 12, 2007
MANJINDER KAUR Appellant
V/S
KULDEEP SINGH Respondents

JUDGEMENT

(1.) Wife is petitioner before this Court. She has prayed for transfer of the proceedings under Section 9 of Hindu Marriage Act filed by the husband-Kuldeep Singh which are pending before the Court of Additional Civil Judge (Senior Division), Kapurthala to a Court of competent jurisdiction at TaranTaran. Sh. Vikram Maan, learned counsel appearing for the respondent-husband states that there is absolutely no justification to transfer the proceedings to Taran Taran but keeping in view the mutual convenience of both the parties, the husband has no objection, if the proceedings are transferred to a Court of competent jurisdiction at Amritsar.

(2.) The aforesaid offer made by learned counsel for the respondent is accepted by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

(3.) Keeping in view the agreement between the learned counsel for the parties, I allow the present petition and direct that the proceedings under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act in the petition filed by the husband-Kuldeep Singh pending before the Court of Additional Civil Judge (Senior Division), Kapurthala shall stand transferred to a Court of competent jurisdiction at Amritsar.
