MAHENDER SINGH Vs. FINANCIAL COMMISSIONER, HARYANA AND ORS

JUDGEMENT

(1.) Dispute, in this writ petition, pertains to appointment of Lambadar in village Sunderpur Jarau, Sub Tehsil Farukhnagar, Tehsil and District Gurgaon.

(2.) On accrual of vacancy, applications were invited. Petitioner, respondents Nos.3 and 4 were the candidates. On appraisal of reports, made by the subordinate revenue staff, the Collector appointed the petitioner as Lambardar of the village. Thereafter, respondent No.3 went in appeal. The Commissioner upset the order passed by the Collector and appointed respondent No. 3 as Lambardar. While allowing the appeal, it was observed by the Commissioner that:-

(3.) The petitioner went in revision, which was dismissed. Hence this writ petition.
