MEENA Vs. STATE OF HARYANA

JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE prayer in this petition is to release the petitioner on regular bail in FIR No. 987 dated 28.12.2006, under section 302/34/120-B IPC, registered at P.S. City Panipat.

(2.) THE above stated FIR has been registered on the statement of Sonu wife of Karan Singh (since deceased). She has alleged that on 27.12.2006 at about 7 p.m., she had gone to call her children who were playing in the house of Suman Sharma in the neighbourhood. At that time her husband was all alone at home. She, however, sat at the house of Suman Sharma along with her children and in the meanwhile, the electric supply went off. Immediate thereafter, she heard the noise of closing of the outer door of the house of Suman Sharma by some person as well as the noise of two motor-cycles from outside. Thereafter, she went towards her house at around 9 p.m., along with her daughter and sons from the house of Suman Sharma and found that her husband was lying in a pool of blood inside the house. She suspected that her husband had a quarrel on 25.12.2006 with Sushil son of Ram Mehar, resident of village Raja Kheri and her husband must have been done to death by said Sushil.

(3.) THE petitioner was arrested on 4.1.2007. Meanwhile, the investigation is complete and challan has been presented.
